I am currently serving as a Professor at Chandigarh University, Punjab. Previously, I worked as a Project Associate on an ICMR-sponsored project titled ‘Validation of the Jodhpur Instrumented Kursi (JiK) against DXA to Diagnose Sarcopenia,’ under the guidance of Dr. Vivek Vijay (Principal Investigator and Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, IIT-Jodhpur). In addition, I am a Senior Member of the IEEE Education Society. I have made significant contributions to the research community through numerous publications in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and conferences. My work in video compression, deep learning, and network security has garnered widespread recognition. Additionally, I have successfully supervised Ph.D. and master’s students in the areas of artificial intelligence and medical imaging. In addition to academic research, I hold multiple patents in intelligent systems, healthcare innovations, and natural language processing (NLP). Collectively, these contributions demonstrate my commitment to advancing engineering solutions with real-world applications.
